If you belong to an religious organization what would you consider in making a good decision?

Updated: Feb 24

Would you look for human reasoning even when they have no biblical support, or rather by those who are based on the Bible? Remember, God's word was inspired by His spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 How do we know?

Here's an example that might help:

Isaiah 40.22 says: "It is He (God), who sits above the circle of the earth". That was written in 730 BC. That means it happened 2750 years ago. If the Bible were not inspired by God, how could Isaiah know that the earth was a round? Think about this.

Another example is Leviticus 12:3 "On the eighth day the boy is to be circumcised".

Why did God ordain it to go on the eighth day? Why?

Check this out. It wasn't until after the 20th century that it was discovered that on the eighth day of birth vitamin K in the blood is up to 150% higher than at any other time in our lives. If a child was circumcised before or after, he could die of hemorrhage.

That is why if something is not clear on the part of a human organization, it is not wise to obey. However, even if something is not clear to us in the Bible, we must obey without hesitation because it is God who says so, not man. Think about those examples above.
